Fusion Heating have been awarded a contract with one of Northern Ireland’s largest social housing providers, Helm Housing Association. Through this deal, a partnership-based gas boiler maintenance service will be provided for Helm Housing Association’s 5,600 properties and 15,000 tenants throughout Northern Ireland. Eight new jobs have also been created at Fusion Heating through this contract.

Blue Fin Software Solution’s job management and workflow system ‘Mobile Work Manager’ will be used to schedule all contract jobs, and collect job documentation and data which can be shared between Fusion Heating and Helm housing in a user-friendly interface.

JMC £28m contract

 

JMC Mechanical and Construction Ltd has been awarded a £28m contract to provide full maintenance services to four Northern Ireland housing associations.

The deal will see the firm service 4,600 homes managed by Clanmil Housing Association; Connswater Homes; Abbeyfield and Wesley; and Hearth and follows the housing providers’ decision to leverage better value through a combined contract. The move is designed to reduce costs, improve efficiency and ensure tenants receive a first class service that keeps their homes in excellent condition.

A provision of this contract includes the use of Mobile Work Manager, Blue Fin’s Job Management System. This is to allow JMC and the housing associations to communicate job information efficiently and instantly through the user-friendly interface.

We are pleased to announce that JMC’s new Job Management system has officially gone live!

JMC Mechanical and Construction Ltd are a Co. Armagh based company who carry out maintenance work across the country. Blue Fin Software Solutions have implemented their Mobile Work Manager Job Management software into JMC’s current system. This system will increase JMC’s capacity to take on and manage big contracts.

The software enables the back office to communicate with fieldworker’s via their mobile devices in real time. Field workers will benefit greatly by being able to receive their daily schedule and all job documentation electronically, cutting down travel time to and from the office. This allows them to fit more jobs into their schedule. Overall, the company will be more efficient in the job management process and reap the benefits, saving time and money on processes which are no longer necessary.

Beyond is a Business Support Network designed for local businesses in the Down District Council area. Blue Fin Software Solutions were invited to attend the Beyond NI Business Awards 2012. The awards gala dinner was held on Friday 25th May with the glittering event was held in the Grand Ballroom of the spectacular Slieve Donard Hotel, Newcastle, Co.Down.

The event was hosted by BBC’s Sarah Travers, with after dinner entertainment provided by comedian Neil Dougan and dancing to The Jukebox Jurors Big Band. It also provided an excellent opportunity to network with many other local business people and business representatives.

The Castlewellan based software company were short – listed for the awards and won the award for Best Export Business. Such an honour to be awarded this achievement!
